Terms of Service

1. Service Description

PDFLaunch ("we", "us", "our") is a software-as-a-service platform that uses AI to help users research niches, generate PDF guide content, and publish digital products to third-party storefronts such as Gumroad. The service is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee any specific sales or revenue outcomes from published products.

2. Account Registration

You must create an account to use PDFLaunch. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Payment Terms

We offer two pricing models:

• Per Launch: $4.99 per PDF guide published to Gumroad. Payment is charged at the time of publishing.
• Pro Subscription: $29.00 per month for unlimited launches and access to all templates. Billed monthly. Cancel any time.

All prices are in USD. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By providing payment information you authorise us to charge the applicable fees. Subscription renewals are automatic and charged on the same calendar date each month until cancelled.

4. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of AI-generated digital content, we do not offer refunds once PDF generation has begun. Computational resources are consumed at the moment of generation and the resulting content is immediately available for download. If you experience a technical failure that prevents you from accessing your generated PDF, contact us at support@pdfguide.app and we will investigate and provide a resolution on a case-by-case basis.

Monthly Pro subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial-month refunds are issued.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to use PDFLaunch only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Generate content that is defamatory, fraudulent, obscene, or infringes third-party rights
• Use the platform to produce spam, misleading sales copy, or content intended to deceive buyers
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform or its APIs
• Share or resell access to your account

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content you publish complies with the terms of the storefronts you publish to (including Gumroad's policies) and with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

6. Intellectual Property

You own the content you generate. PDFLaunch assigns to you all rights in the outlines, chapter text, and PDF files produced through your account. You are free to sell, modify, or redistribute that content without restriction.

PDFLaunch retains all rights in the platform itself, including its software, design, templates, branding, and AI prompt architecture. Nothing in these terms grants you a licence to the PDFLaunch platform beyond the right to use the service as intended.

7. Third-Party Services

PDFLaunch integrates with Anthropic (AI generation), Gumroad (publishing), Stripe (payments), and Clerk (authentication). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFLaunch is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email. Your continued use of PDFLaunch after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
